Mankind Pharma IPO: Mankind Pharma has filed its DRHP papers with market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to raise funds through IPO. This IPO could be one of largest ever in pharmaceutical Industry in India.

According to other reports, the size of Mankind Pharma IPO is expected to be around ₹5,500 crores. If this happens Mankind Pharma could create one of the biggest public issues ever in the pharma sector in India. The IPO will consist of an Offer for Sale (OFS) of around 4 crore equity shares by the promoters and existing shareholders of the company.

Major promoters of Mankind Pharma include Ramesh Juneja, Rajiv Juneja, Sheetal Arora, Ramesh Juneja Family Trust, Rajiv Juneja Family Trust, and Prem Sheetal Family Trust.

History of Mankind Pharma

Mankind Pharma was incorporated in the year 1991. Presently Mankind Pharma is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in India (based on domestic sales). The company is engaged in the development, manufacturing, and marketing of a variety of Pharmaceutical Formulations of Health Products.

The company operates 23 manufacturing facilities across India including the states of Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and Andhra Pradesh as on March 31, 2022. Apart from India, the company's major markets include the United States, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal.
